Individualized Support for Veterans
Do you need an advocate to help you find permanent housing?
Could you benefit from Life Skills Coaching?
Do you need someone to help connect you to available resources?
Do you want to achieve stability in your life?
Volunteers of America, on behalf of the Veterans Administration, operates a Housing Retention Services program across Montana, Wyoming, and Western South Dakota. The program provides case management services to Veterans and their families who were previously homeless and are in the process of or have recently transitioned to permanent housing. This service is intended to be an extension of other placement programs, offering intensive case management services to help Veterans remain permanently housed.
Support is also available to veterans who are at risk of losing their housing, or those challenged by the transition into community living. Eligible Veterans must provide proof of their Veteran status, with any discharge other than dishonorable.
